FlyerFly is a brand new social media app built by UW-Parkside students who want to address the decline of civic engagement on campuses. We’re looking for 2–3 students to represent FlyerFly and help build a more vibrant campus life.

What You’ll Do

• Show Up – Be present and participate in campus events: club meetings, tabling, socials, games, whatever’s happening. You’re the face of FlyerFly on the ground.
• Capture the Moment – Take photos and videos at events so we can make the energy on campus visible to everyone.
• Build Relationships – Get to know club leaders, campus staff, and maintain those relationships. Be their bridge into FlyerFly.
• Grow the Community – Help clubs and students get on FlyerFly and bring new orgs onto the app.
• Bring Ideas Back – You’re closer to students than anyone. Tell us what’s working, what isn’t, and what we should build next.

What You’ll Learn

• Leadership – Owning a piece of campus and inspiring change.
• Communication – Pitching, networking, and working with student leaders and university staff.
• Room to Explore – Design, social media, marketing, and coding are all avenues you can explore with us.

This is a real look into how an early-stage startup grows. Gain hands-on experience with a founding team.

Who We’re Looking For

• UW-Parkside Student – Currently enrolled
• Sociable – You like meeting people and are comfortable starting conversations.
• Passionate – A person who genuinely wants to be involved on campus and make a difference. We are addressing the decline of civic engagement, not just trying to turn a profit
• Autonomous – We’ll give you direction, not a script.
